All our hosting comes with free SSL certificates allowing all hosted sites to be accessed via https thus securing data being transmitted between browser and site. Other SSL certificates can be made available on request e.g. Extended Verification, each certificate level comes at a different costs while offering additional benefits.
User access within clearFusionCMS is implemented through the use of roles and permissions. The site owner defines one or more roles with a set of permissions. Users are then assigned one or more roles. For example a user may be assigned the role of content editor, the system will only allow that user access to the areas of the CMS defined by the roles permissions e.g. they can edit documents but can not view or edit user information.
The system never collects credit card information nor does it store it, the system always passes the customer to the payment service provider, e.g. PayPal or SagePay, where they enter their card details directly into the providers secure site.
All systems are protected by a username and password. clearFusionCMS can optionally have two factor authentication enabled via the use of Google Authenticator app.
